The very talented (and motivated) Janell Beals over at Isabella and Max Rooms has been working on a bedroom makeover for her son and today was the big reveal! She graciously allowed me to share some of the photos with you, but you'll need to head on over to her blog for all of the details.
You'll want to see, for example, how she made hybrid slipcovers for these chairs (love the button tufting/trim/nailhead detail that she added!)...
painted maps on the wall and did the chalkboard stripe around the room...

made a compass ceiling medallion and transformed the Ikea light fixture,
